- The challenge will take a route across this wild piece of the west county, between Ivybridge in the south and Okehampton in the north, crossing the moor over two days. Hone your map reading and orienteering skills as well as surviving the wilds.

Wild, open moorlands and deep river valleys, with a rich history and rare wildlife, Dartmoor is a unique place.
From towering tors to ancient woodland; bronze age stone circles, old tin mines and treacherous bogs, Dartmoor is truly an experience. ESCAPAHOLICS
are running a number of Escapaholic Dartmoor trips during the year, a team challenge allowing you to
experience this remote part of England. The event is an all inclusive experience, just grab your kit and make your way to Devon…and relax!

Sample itinerary
Guests arrive at Tiverton Parkway or Exeter St David’s rail station for pick up, or drive to to rural mid Devon. Field camp and BBQ social evening with a briefing and map reading exercise.
Saturday
Pack up camp before Breakfast – Croissants, porridge and bacon butties. Minibus transport to the north edge of Dartmoor. Guests to take own day sack, wet weather gear, compass, map and emergency rations. Endeavour will provide you with a tasty packed lunch. Your sleeping bag, spare clothes and home gear packed on to minibus and transported to your overnight Bunk House location. Head south across the moor. Experience the delights and mental challenges of orienteering, map reading skills, and the odd challenge. If your map skills are not quite up to scratch, fear not! Endeavour staff will be with you all the way.
Saturday Night
Stay at Bunk House. After trekking across the moor, a chance to relax and enjoy a hearty meal (and convivial atmosphere!)
Sunday
Breakfast at the Bunk House, before heading south. Again, guests to take their own day pack with pack lunch (provided by Endeavour Series), wet weather gear, compass, map and emergency rations.Orienteering and rough walking across the moor, through famous Dartmoor Bogs, to finish along the dismantled tramway to Harford Moor Gate. End with a hearty fresh dip in the River Dart.
Minibus pick up and drop off to Exeter St Davids Station or car pick up.

What to bring
When on the moor less is more....excuse the pun! Some guests come loaded like pack mules with nearly half an outdoor camping store.
A wise selection of good quality gear is better; after all you will be carrying! If you are not sure or have a question please feel free to contact us info@endeavour-series.com .
