Endeavour Borneo - Sarawak jungle

Endeavour Borneo - 24th February to 3rd March 2025
Endeavour Borneo, set on in the Malaysian state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo, offers an unforgettable mix of culture and nature-based adventure experiences. Endeavour Borneo takes place along the remoter rivers and longhouses of the Batang Ai region of Sarawak using local Iban canoes. Clean rivers, jungle streams, refreshing waterfalls and undisturbed tracts of rainforest allow you to undertake Endeavour action in the remote jungle.
You will explore deep in the jungle along the banks of the Lalang River in an area where orangutan can be sighted in their natural environment. You will stay in local Iban longhouses, construct your own jungle camps and sleep under the stars; enjoy trekking deep into the jungle, constructing bamboo rafts and rafting these natural jungle highways.
Learn to forage for food, search of paku (jungle ferns), bamboo shoots and other edible jungle products found near the river. Fish for prawns in the small streams or set up fish traps in the Delok River. Use traditional jala (throw nets) to fish whilst or be assigned to collect firewood. In the evening under the glow of palm oil lanterns its time to take to the archery range for some healthy competition, spiced up by going head to head with local Iban trackers.
